All our ski instructors will comply with the 2-G rule, which means that they are vaccinated or cured. In this way we guarantee your and our safety and have a safe winter together.

Winter sports and COVID-19 in general

Skiing and snowboarding take place outdoors and are therefore sports with little contact to others. As a result, the risk of infection is low and winter sports, in compliance with the corona measures, are perfectly possible!

Together with the Westendorf businesses and the Kitzbüheler Alpen tourist board, measures have been put in place to prevent infection. Below is an overview of these measures for winter 2021/22.

2-G-rule

As of 1 February, the conditions for complying with the 2-G rule (vaccinated or cured) will change:

  • The validity period for healing after a corona infection is 180 days
  • The validity of the first series of vaccinations (2 vaccinations or recovery + 1 vaccination) is 180 days
  • The validity of the booster vaccination (3 vaccinations or recovery + 2 vaccinations) is still 270 days
  • The Janssen vaccine lost its validity on 3 January

You can get a booster shot to extend the validity of your 2-G certificate. The booster shot will be an mRNA vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna).

People who have not had a booster vaccination do not need to undergo quarantine after arriving in Austria from Monday (24 January). A valid full vaccination with a negative PCR-test no older than 48 hours is sufficient. People who have had a booster vaccination do not need to show a negative PCR test.

  • The Austrian lock-down has been over since 12-12-2021!

Ski schools

  • All our ski instructors comply with the 2-G rule (vaccinated or cured).
  • There will be as few interim changes within ski classes as possible. Of course switching is still possible if it is best for the children!

  • At the assembly point of the ski school the 2-G-corona certificate is checked daily (12 years and older).
